Install “YouTube Downloader”
Browse to the youtube video in your browser, you should now see “Download mp4 video” along with the option to open it in the youtube application.
Use “Lynda filemanager” to browse to sdcard/downloads and play the video.
Cinema is a nice video player to play the downloaded videos.
